Corner Radiator Valves

Corner radiator valves are a less common but sometimes essential valve type — used when the pipework configuration means a standard angled valve does not connect cleanly or sit flush against the wall. If you are replacing an existing corner valve or your plumber has specified a corner type for your installation, our range covers the most widely needed configurations in chrome and matt black finishes. Corner Radiator Valves vs Angled Valves — Understanding the Difference

Corner radiator valves and angled valves look similar but are designed for subtly different pipework configurations. An angled valve turns 90 degrees in a single plane — typically from floor pipe to radiator inlet. A corner valve turns in a different plane and is used where the pipe approaches from a corner angle or where the valve needs to sit particularly flush to the wall. In some cases angled and corner valves are interchangeable — but always confirm your specific pipework position and connection direction before ordering to avoid compatibility issues.

When Are Corner Radiator Valves Needed?

Corner radiator valves are most commonly needed when a towel rail or bathroom radiator is positioned in or very close to a corner of the room, where the wall space does not allow a standard angled valve to sit comfortably. They are also used in certain replacement situations where the original valve was a corner type and a direct like-for-like replacement is needed. If you are unsure which valve type you need for your installation, our team is always happy to advise — call Shower Board on 01325-605-100.
