Please carefully read these terms and conditions before placing your order. By ordering products from www.showerboard.co.uk, you agree to be bound by these terms.

If you do not agree, you may not use this website. Showerboard reserves the right to modify, alter, or update these terms at any time. This does not affect your statutory rights.

These Terms and Conditions apply only to consumers.

1. Important Guidelines

1.1 All goods should be checked upon receipt. Notification of any damages or discrepancies must be sent within a reasonable time frame. If you cannot check items immediately, call us or sign for items as damaged and report issues in writing ASAP.

1.2 Delivery dates are estimates only and subject to change based on manufacturer information. Showerboard is not liable for any damage or loss arising from delivery delays.

1.3 Tradespeople or installation work should not be arranged until goods are received and checked. Showerboard will not accept liability for third-party costs or compensation for delays or incorrect fitments.

1.4 Deliveries are kerbside only. Couriers are not insured to bring items inside your property. If they do, it is at your own risk, and you must ensure proper protection for floors/walls.

1.5 Any advice from the sales team is given in good faith but may not fully reflect your specific requirements. For order or fit questions, consult a qualified professional.

1.6 Deliveries are typically fulfilled between 7 am – 6 pm via manufacturer or third-party couriers (Royal Mail, Parcel Force, FedEx, UPS, DPD). Deliveries may vary due to service demand.

1.7 Risk passes to the customer on delivery. If leaving items with a third party, ensure they follow the correct inspection procedures.

2. Returns Policy – Unwanted Goods

2.1 You may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods. You then have another 14 days to return the items.

2.2 Returns are at the customer’s cost. To avoid extra charges, send images of the items and packaging to info@showerboard.co.uk or support@showerboard.co.uk before shipping.

2.3 Items returned damaged, used, or with unsuitable packaging may have deductions applied to your refund.

2.4 Installation constitutes acceptance. Fully or partially installed items cannot be returned.

3. Delivery Policy

3.1 Delivery times are standard 2–5 working days. Some made-to-order products may take up to 3 weeks.

3.2 Delivery cut-off time is 1 pm.

3.3 Most deliveries are manufacturer-managed. Large items may arrive via pallet; deliveries are curbside only.

3.4 Showerboard does not deliver to non-mainland UK, but customers can request delivery if they cover extra charges.

3.5 Prices displayed include VAT, but shipping may be additional and shown at checkout.

4. Damages & Discrepancies

4.1 Inspect items upon receipt. If damaged, take photos and email us within 48 hours.

4.2 If pallets or large items are damaged, sign for them as damaged and report immediately.

4.3 Do not install damaged items, as this voids replacement/refund eligibility.

4.4 Risk passes to the customer on delivery, or if arranged by us, until delivery is complete.

4.5 Bespoke items that arrive damaged will be replaced once reported.

5. Warranty

5.1 All goods come with a minimum 12-month manufacturer warranty. Some items may have extended warranties – see manufacturer terms.

5.2 Warranty does not cover:

• Fair wear and tear

• Accidents, negligence, or misuse

• Failure to follow manufacturer instructions

• Unauthorized repairs or modifications

5.3 Faulty goods returned will be tested by the manufacturer. If found in good condition, refund may be minus testing costs.

5.4 For faults within 12 months, contact the manufacturer or Showerboard. Avoid removing or repairing items to prevent voiding warranty.

6. Customer Communications

6.1 We may send information electronically (email) to the address provided.

6.2 Showerboard cannot be responsible for errors from information provided by customers.
