Returns & Refund Policy – Showerboard
We want all of our customers to be completely satisfied with their purchase from Showerboard. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, this policy explains how returns, refunds, and faulty items are handled.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
A common issue is customers storing products for long periods before opening.
We strongly advise opening and checking your items immediately upon delivery to avoid problems with returns or replacements later.
1. Returns
We accept returns for both defective and non-defective products, subject to the conditions below:
Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Products
If your product is defective, damaged, or incorrect, returns are free of charge. We will arrange collection and offer a replacement or full refund.
Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue.
Non-Defective Products (Change of Mind)
If you wish to return a product that is not defective, a fixed £55 collection and restocking fee will apply.
The product must be:
New and unused
Not installed or cut
Not altered in any way (adhesive applied, scratched, or damaged)
In original packaging and resalable condition
We reserve the right to refuse returns if the product has been installed, cut, or damaged after delivery.
Made-to-Order Items
All made-to-order items are non-returnable and non-refundable, as they are custom-made specifically for your order.
2. Product Condition
Returns are only accepted for products that are new, unused, and in original packaging.
Products must not be installed, cut, or modified, and must be in resalable condition.
3. Return Window
You may return your order within 14 days of receiving the goods.
Return requests made after this period may not be accepted.
4. Restocking Fee
Non-defective returns (change of mind): £55 collection and restocking fee
Defective returns: No fee
The restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
5. Return Method
We recommend returns via collection by our courier, which is the safest method for large shower boards.
Alternatively, you may deliver the item yourself, provided it is covered for damage during transit. We are not responsible for damage caused during self-delivery.
6. Refunds
Refunds will be processed within 14 days after we receive and inspect the returned product.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
For non-defective returns, the £55 collection/restocking fee will be deducted.
Refunds are automatically converted into the customer’s local currency if applicable.
7. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges.
If you wish to change your item, you must return the original product in accordance with our Returns Policy and place a new order.
